Em 17 agosto de 2013 Grave Robber anunciaram que estavam chamando-o de ‘sai’, ou pelo menos um hiato prolongado. Aparentemente, o hiato estendido foi de curta duração, como a banda anunciou um rápido retorno, mas, com uma visão renovada, novos trajes, novas músicas e um retorno às suas raízes punk-. Há muita coisa acontecendo no acampamento Grave Robber, por isso queria capturá-lo sobre o que está acontecendo.
HIATUS
hiato foi de curta duração. Graças a Deus! I (miserável) odiei cada momento. Nós vamos estar jogando mais um show este ano no The Chameleon na noite de Halloween.
VISÃO
Em janeiro, será re-lançamento e rebranding da banda. Alguns novos visuais, novos costumes, novas máscaras, e as novas músicas! Na verdade, o plano é gravar um EP de covers de músicas que gostamos antes de janeiro e colocá-los para um download gratuito. Em algum momento no início da Primavera, estaremos gravando um novo comprimento total. Então, no próximo outono pretendemos gravar uma versão de Natal. Todas essas gravações vai voltar ao que nós começamos como: uma banda punk. Fãs de nosso primeiro álbum, “Be Afraid” vai ficar feliz em saber que vamos voltar para trás no estilo de som. Os fãs do som mais “metal-esque” pode ficar desapontado se você esperava isso. Basicamente, se você gostou do material do punk em “You’re All Gonna Die”, você vai ser feliz com a direção que a banda está indo. Na verdade, você provavelmente nem vai perceber uma mudança de direção.
BATERISTA
Temos um novo baterista. Estamos aposentando o personagem “Plague” e estará revelando um novo personagem em janeiro.
LAMENTOR
Mike “Lamentor” Walter deixou Grave Robber. Mike está continuando sua educação em um mestrado.
GRIM
Nosso grande amigo Grant “Grim” Butler deixou a banda no início deste ano e nós nunca realmente disse “adeus” publicamente porque estávamos esperando ele voltar logo. A realidade é Grant teve que sair devido a doença em sua família e que continua até hoje. Nós amamos e perder Grant terrivelmente. Desejamos a ele o melhor e peço que orem por sua família. Temos aposentou o personagem “Grim”.
GUITARRISTA

Grave Robber ends hiatus with a revised vision.
On August 17, 2013 Grave Robber announced they were calling it ‘quits’, or at least an extended hiatus. Apparently, the extended hiatus was short-lived as the band announced a quick return, but, with a renewed vision, new costumes, new songs and a return to their punk-roots. There’s a lot going on in the Grave Robber camp, so we wanted to catch you up on what’s happening.
HIATUS
Hiatus was short lived. Thank God! I (Wretched) hated every moment of it. We will be playing one more show this year at The Chameleon on Halloween Night.
VISION
In January, we will be re-launching and rebranding the band. Some new visuals, new costumes, new masks, and new songs! In fact, plan is to record an e.p. of cover tunes of songs we like before January and put them up for a FREE download. Sometime in early Spring, we will be recording a new Full length. Then, next Fall we plan to record a Christmas release. All of these recordings will be going back to what we started out as: A PUNK BAND. Fans of our first record, “Be Afraid” will be happy to know we will be returning back to that sound. Fans of the more “metal-esque” sound may be disappointed if you were way into that. Basically, if you liked the punk stuff on “You’re All Gonna Die”, you’ll be happy with the direction the band is going. In fact, you probably won’t even notice a change in direction.
DRUMMER
We have a new drummer. We are retiring the “Plague” character and will be revealing a new character in January.
LAMENTOR
Mike “Lamentor” Walter has left Grave Robber. Mike is continuing his education, persuing a Masters degree. He is also currently a worship pastor at Fist Missionary Church in Fort Wayne, IN. So, with new school schedule, new career, and all that comes with both of those, Mike decided to step down. If you missed it, you can read about it on Lamentor Grave Robber’s page. We wish him all the success in the world. Just because he’s not in the band anymore, doesn’t mean we aren’t brothers! We love you, Mike! We are retiring the “Lamentor” character with Mike’s departure.
GRIM
Our great friend Grant “Grim” Butler left the band earlier this year and we never really said “Goodbye” publicly because we were hoping he’d come right back. Reality is Grant had to leave due to illness in his family and that continues to this day. We love and miss Grant terribly. We wish him the best and ask that you pray for his family. We have retired the “Grim” character.
GUITARIST WANTED
